FUTURE ARCHAEOLOGY
BY OBJECTS OF COMMON INTEREST
22 OCTOBER – 27 NOVEMBER 2021
Etage Projects is pleased to present FUTURE ARCHAEOLOGY, a solo show by Objects of Common Interest.
FUTURE ARCHAEOLOGY is Objects of Common Interest’s first solo show with the gallery. The exhibition presents a series of domestic objects made of steel and finished in a holographic surface treatment that creates a playful perception of colors. FUTURE ARCHAEOLOGY will fill out the entire gallery as a spatial investigation at the intersection of history, coexistence practices, and contemporary habitation.
Objects of Common Interest is founded by Eleni Petaloti and Leonidas Trampoukis and based between New York and Athens. The studio operates within the realm of art, design and architecture with a focus on creating still life installations, experiential environments and objects that demonstrate a fixation with materiality, concept and tangible spatial experiences.
